It will come as no surprise that the #1 cause of credit problems is an imbalanced budget. Simply put, if you have more outgoing financial obligations than you have incoming funds then you have the recipe for a major headache, extreme stress, and poor credit scores. If you currently find yourself in the situation where it feels like you have more money going out than coming in then it may be time to take a look at your current monthly budget and make some adjustments. Even if you are not facing current credit or financial problems it is always a good idea to do a periodic budget check-up in order to see if you can be saving more of your hard earned money.
